Edward Franklin “Frank” Morris, 63, of Vanceboro, NC and formerly of Chase City, died April 15, 2010 at Duke University Medical Center. He worked at Virginia Homes in Boydton, VA for almost 11 years before moving to Vanceboro, NC where he work for Weeks Construction Co. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Van Lee Morris and Ruban Ray Morris. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Grace V. Hutchins Morris, three daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Nick Ramkissoon and Teresa and Kevin Beamon, all of Vanceboro, Susan Fornes and fiancée, William Dillahunt, Jr. of Trenton, NC. He was a proud grandfather of his five grandchildren and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and will be known for his wonderful heart. The family will receive guest at his brother’s home, Fred Morris, 2600 Nottoway Blvd., Victoria, VA. Visitation will be at Wood Funeral Service, Chase City, 7:00-8:30 p.m. Saturday and where funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
